![]() TNN Motor Sports Hardcore Heat 02/23/2000 This is one of those games that if they had been tested more could have been fixed in many ways. The graphics are crisp, clean and nice with no problems that weren’t intended (i.e. fog from the rain). The sound is nice and there’s some good music but it’s not make you want to dance music. The control is where this game just free falls down the rating chart. Every other turn you make you will slide uncontrollably for a VERY long time until your last place, then you’ll regain control. Other than that major thing the controls are laid out easily and don’t cause confusion. The game has a tournament mode and an exhibition mode with a total of about 6 tracks. That doesn’t leave much but the tournament does get a bit hard and takes some time, giving this game some length. The game play is just totally dragged down and ruined by the constant sliding problem. I think if they added more tracks and fixed the sliding problem this could have been a VERY good racing game. But unfortunately it didn’t have those problems addressed to and the game suffered because of it. This game is something that you can pass up unless you can get passed the sliding; even then I suggest you only rent it. Written By, Neutropia ![]()
