Air Force Delta
03/18/2000

Air Force Delta is the Ace Combat of Dreamcast. It’s amazing how closely alike they are. It’s almost scary. Anyways, the graphics in this game are crisp and nice but don’t have the polished and over shined affect the most good dreamcast games have. The sound is good especially if you have surround sound. Fire a left missile and hear that baby fly by you on the left. If you don’t have surround sound it's still good anyways.
The music gets you into the 600 M.P.H. blowing stuff up mood. The controls are easy to remember and work very well with the game. I had no problems with them. This game has 18 missions to pass through. Each getting harder as you progress.
After you beat all 18 you can go through again and earn money for super planes, which are pretty cool in my opinion. The game play is limited, but the different types of missions and target types (i.e. ground, air, sea) keeps it interesting.
This isn’t the kind of game you can beat in an hour unless you are very good. But overall if you like fighter pilot games check this one out. If you liked Ace Combat then I strongly suggest you give this title a try.
